General Information

The European Forum Alpbach is an interdisciplinary platform for science, politics, business and culture. Since 1945, it is addressing the relevant socio-political issues of our time within the framework of an annual conference in Alpbach and other events throughout the year.

The European Forum Alpbach brings together international decision-makers from various backgrounds, an interested audience, and dedicated young people. It is a platform for a dialogue which is intergenerational and moves across borders. Furthermore, it is committed to a sustainable, democratic society and it aims to stimulate impulses for the further development of European integration.

Das Europäische Forum Alpbach (EFA) trauert um seinen Ehrenpräsidenten Dr. Erhard Busek. Der überzeugte Europäer und Vizekanzler a. D. ist in der Nacht vom 13. auf den 14. März 2022 verstorben. Der Vorstand des Europäischen Forums Alpbach, das Generalsekretariat, die Clubs des Forum Alpbach Netzwerks, das EFA-Team sowie alle Mitstreiter:innen sind in tiefer Trauer.

Ein Teil der Verkehrsbeschränkungen, die aufgrund von Covid-Infektionen am Beginn des Europäischen Forums Alpbach von der Behörde verhängt wurden, sind nun wieder aufgehoben. Zwei weitere Infektionen wurden erkannt.

Im Rahmen der engmaschigen Teststrategie des Europäischen Forums Alpbach (EFA) wurde eine weitere Covid-Infektion erkannt.

Bereits Anfang der Woche wurden vier Covid-Infektionen aufgrund der engmaschigen Teststrategie des EFA in Kooperation mit den zuständigen Behörden erkannt. Unabhängig davon wurde nun ein weiterer Fall gemeldet.
